ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL...
The key verse for Morning Star's Sunday School time is Romans 10:17... "So then faith comes from hearing and hearing through the Word of Christ."
Sunday School is a time to pray for the needs of the people, sing songs of praise and and study the Word of God. Currently the Sunday School group studies one book of the Bible at a time. The Bible is used to prove the Bible, and this is done by studying corresponding verses from one book of the Bible to another. The study time is participant-based and involves a lot of open discussion.

GAS SAVER / ERRAND CO-OP MINISTRY
The purpose of this ministry is to arrange for someone to pick up prescription refills, one or two needed items in Fort Collins, to arrange for a ride to town, or to carpool to town. The co-op will then contact you when you notify them that you are going to town, so you can reciprocate by picking something up for someone else, or lend someone a ride. Please try to give as much advance notice as possible. Call coordinators Joan or Karen for information.

MEN'S & WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES...
On Wednesdays at 10 am, the men and women meet as separate groups for Bible Study and fellowship.
The men share life experiences, work on Scripture memorization, sing songs of praise, pray and study God's Word. The setting is a wonderful opportunity to build one another up and encourage one another in the Lord. Join this group and you will experience Proverbs 27:17 in action... "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another."
The ladies of Morning Star are always blessed by the fellowship and getting together to learn and share about the most important issues of life, such as 'How can we be sure we're going to heaven?' and 'What is God's plan for our lives?' Come join each Wednesday morning!
MEN'S BREAKFAST...
This group meets the first OR second Saturday of the month at 8:00 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. (Please call the church to determine which Saturday they are meeting each month.) There is a great home-cooked breakfast and a speaker each month. It is a great time of fellowship. The men hope to see you there!
MUSIC...
Worship practice is held at the church every Thursday evening at 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend! Participants rehearse and learn new songs to be sung the following Sunday or in weeks to come. Come and sing with the group, learn new songs and plan to sing with the choir the following Sunday.
OPEN DOOR MISSION MINISTRY...
On the second and fourth Sundays of each month, one or both pastors and several members of Morning Star Church provide a helping hand at the Open Door Mission (Association of Gospel Rescue Mission) in Fort Collins, at 316 Jefferson. They have recently added a small chapel as part of their facilities, and Morning Star conducts a worship service at 5 pm; then they serve the evening meal and wash dishes. It is truly a blessing to bring the Gospel to the Mission participants and be part of this ministry. Anyone is welcome to join us at this twice per month visit! PIECEMAKERS...
The ladies of Morning Star Piecemakers meet on the first Thursday of the month at 10 am in the fellowship hall at church. Ladies of the community, please join for a time of fellowship, and an opportunity to help finish projects for the needy, or finish your own projects. If you have never quilted and would like to learn how to quilt, this is a great opportunity. There are fabric and projects that are ready to be worked on, or you may bring your own projects from home. Please bring your sewing machine if you can. Also, bring a sack lunch, as the ladies usually work until 1 or 2 pm. Call to make sure the group will meet any given month, or call if you have questions: contact Mary King at 970-484-1190.
POTLUCK BIBLE STUDY...
The potluck Bible Study is held every Wednesday evening, with dinner at 5:00 pm. At 5:45 pm the group has a time of worship that includes a message, singing and prayer time. The gathering usually wraps up around 7:00 pm.
SCRAPBOOKING GROUP...
The Scrapbooking Group meets twice per month. Please join us for lots of fun... Bring your photographs and memories! Begins at 10 am on each of the two Thursdays...

These services begin the first Sunday in June and go through September. They are held at the church at 6:00 p.m. These services will be a special time of worship, focusing on Christian movies or special presentations.
